.: Retreat !!!! lol:.

orites..its mon morning and im kinda oreadie feeling the mon blues oreadie..still tired frm the weeekend's exco retreat..but still,came back wif thoughts n experiences to be learnt..

the highlight of the whole retreat had to be bro mubarak's sharing session..when u think abt it, u can see how ntums has evolved over the past few excos albeit 4 yrs ago from him..He faced a lot more harsh challenges,remarks..yet he stood on..which is y i jus luv listening to him talk..analyse..it was really a gd sharing session..

to think that he cud actually stand being followed by ISA was another matter..man, this guy's good..lol...

different ppl..different dreams i suppose..but nvrtheless i miself do hope that this exco can bring ntums to another platform albeit step by step..in the wake of unnecessary attention on us being conservative n boring..we have to prove then wrong..to show that there is a place for the modern muslim in society..that while he can prove to be adaptable ...he still sticks to principles.. :)

principles..the one that defines the white n black areas...

it is sumthing that we should try not to compromise on..although i admitted that i did that on a few occasions during foc..i guess now,looking back..there was more that cud have been rectified..but im oni human aft all..

n so it ends..i didnt actually get to study over there as my mind was pre-occupied by the events calendar that is goona loom over my head till..till wateva it takes..lol..but nvrtheless,it was an enriching experience..my oni hate? was that i kept on seeing the same old people who were really commited to the cause..jus wished the rest cud have seen wat bro mubarak n prev excos had done to put us where we are now..

n im shagged..lol

on another note, the meet-up is gettin more n more likelier..jus a simple msg sumtimes can lighten up tyr day i suppose...but then again, i suppose this are one of those feelings that u can nvr understand..

so i stop here..bec im havin my bio lecture at 0930..of which i think im gonna study 4 my 2 quizzes later..n i end it wif a very relevant quote that i got to hear when i was at the retreat..

"Do not think of it as a burden,for Allah s.w.t knows wat is best for us and does not impose on us more than wat we can bear"

i rest my case...it is up to US now..
