.: Which is more important? a beautiful heart or a beautiful mind? :.

today was kinda eventful for me..in many ways

day started wif my pergas exams..i had fiqh up first n was sitting bside ariff(who i oni got to noe his name today..lol)..he was the all kanchiong spider kind so it was realli funny looking at him n trying to calm him down..niwaes, i had already finished my fiqh revision while i was on the mrt to newton..so fiqh wasnt that bad..bsides, it has alwaes been a fun subject for me especially with Ustaz Azmi usually relating the hukum to real life situations..(like..hmm..i forgot the show)

then i had akhlaq which was a bit more challenging..akhlaq alwaes has been..the book is thick n the author is long winded indeed..so it has n alwaes WILL be a challenge to really comprehend the book..but i got on quite fine w/the paper..im still tinkin on when n how to start mugging for my aqidah paper which is much more incomprehensible cos its in bahasa indonesia..i'll probably need a translator for dat one..

i den went for a jog in the evening..with hopes to train miself up for ledang trip..actually i went for a swim on fri..but i found miself panciting after only 10 laps of freestyle..which translated to bad news..bec i definitely wudnt want to find miself tercungap-cungap n being laughed at on the way up..then again, there's nizar..so it wont be that bad aft all..lol(jus kidding nizar)..nvrtheless it was a very freshening run, had a short work-out after that..hope dat i can keep this up in time for my ippt.bec i definitely dont want to get charged.. :p

biggest highlight today i felt was the movie "beautiful mind" on ch 5..it was a very emotional story in my opinion..I'm alwaes touched by this real life stories of people who actually overcame obstacles to become who they can be..n its all the more inspiring of this guy,Mr Forbes Nash( i think..) who overcame his own schizophrenia to become a better person for the sake of himself n his wife(who overcame a lot of hardship jus to be wif him)..of course, russel crowe gave a wonderful performance..but the underlying lessons of his life were sthing for me to reflect n inspire me deeply..

i remembered i once came across a hadith where Rasulullah s.a.w said that the heart was the most important part of a person..as it is from the heart that his intentions are made pure..

n it struck me a lot cos at this time, im losing a lot of faith in miself at the moment..at some instances, i cant bear to forgive miself for wat i had done..n at other times, for things that I didn't do..Its very hard to lead this kind of life..n its no joke that stimes it takes a lot out of you..n if not monitored, can lead u to depression n all sorts of stuff

i jus hope im strong enuff to overcome this final hurdles bec i tink im getting jaded again..im alwaes trying to find sumone who can understand n accept me for who i am...wif hope that I cud perhaps find relief in this adversity..

Rasulullah s.a.w once said "That person who relieveth a Mumin (Muslim) from distress in this world, God will in like manner relieve him in the next; and he who shall do good to the indigent, God will do good to him in this world and the next. "

i hope that wat I've done for others so far have benefited them in some way or another..bec i have done it to my best intentions n will..Insya'Allah..I hope Allah swt will show me the right path one day..n soon.. :) bec i tink im getting blinded by the very failure in one thing that I have alwaes done best..mi mind..

I pray that Allah swt will show me a beautiful heart..perhaps thru mine..

peace out..
