its been awhile since i was back frm my trip to climb Mt Ophir..but now that my thoughts were settled..i can finally put them in words..

i went to Gunung Ledang with a hope that on my climb to the summit..i wud get closer to nature while seeking the answers within miself to y i was chosen 4 sucha task..initially, i had to admit that i was reluctant to go,knowing that one of my frens pulled out..but after much persuasion, i went..

when u think abt it..the things that i wanted 2 run away frm(the tido thingy) came again..so i had to put up wif it 4 a while..n when i got bored of it..i jus went into 'silent mode'..n the funny thing was..they too..lol..weird ppl

nevertheless..the journey was orites..nuthin eventful..we set up our camp abt sumwhere in the middle..to rest..while we wud start climbin at 2 am..wif hope that we cud catch the sunrise..

one funny thing that i learnt frm this trip..was that mountains n hills are not the same..ok..i guess its not funny..i found out how really unfit i was..bec i was panting like abt 1/4 of the journey to the top..

i lurved the surroundings..really beautiful stuff..i esp lurve looking at waterfalls..its a wonder how jernih they are..n how we can actually be reminded of our reliance on it 4 life..hehe..n along the way up, i managed to see a red butterfly wif stripes..which was really beautiful..the big bonsai tree seemed so elegant n peaceful to me too..n the view frm the summit?(brrr..) was really magnificient..

actually..my knee was hurtin up 2 that time..but pasal semangat naik summitnyer pasal..lutut sakit pun tk kisah..to a point that i went ahead of the ranger..hehe..

then a fren of mine told us a story at the summit..a story that made me realise sthin..hmm..

there are diff kinds of ppl..ppl who dun bother trying at all..ppl who tried but gave up halfway..then there are those who succeed in their task..

but where do we go from here?

do we..try a new challenge? sthin bigger than the last..or do we stay contented that we have completed that task? n not move on?

it was then that i understood perhaps..wat the new comm had 2 do..wif all due respect, the work didnt end wif foc..it actually started frm it...n my knee hurted even more..lol

it got worse as we went down..but Alhamdulillah..i managed to pull thru all the way down..

but certain qns were still left unanswered..of which i oni understood when i got home n asked certain ppl..lol

but that's another story..4 another time ;)
