recent events have made me realise quite a few things..

its amazing how some ppl jus cant see..i dunno hw to describe it actually..whether its jus outright sad..or jus disappointing..

i've alwaes felt that the way of living one's life as a Muslim is unique to every person..while Muslims are similar in aqidah and tauhid..in basic acts of ibadah..but in other matters which only surface in this age today but didnt surface in the age of Rasulullah s.a.w, there are many ideas..many different ways of thinking..

ustaz abu bakar covered an example jus now..dere was dis issue of zikir dat was reported in berita harian..the issue raised being why the multitude of majlis zikir jus to commemorate the occasion of Nisfu Sya'aban..wen the truth is dat Rasulullah saw nvr practised it, his sahabats as well..and even in the world today, the Muslim communities in Saudi Arabia dont do it..the general opinion being dat zikir shud b sthin only between u and Allah Himself..dats the argument against

so the one who sends the letter on the forum page ask why MUIS is jus keeping quiet on this issue..bec dey want clarification on why the mosques are still doing it..and of course, as usual, an official stand..

the argument for..simple..if dis ppl do not know of such majlis or occasions..what else would they be doing? then ustaz quoted another example dat in russia, how muslims over there actually invited non-muslims to their majlis..and even allowed them to bring alocohol(bec it's part of their drinking culture there)..but such is the Work of Allah..dat he told us dat after attending such occasions, many of the non-Muslims gradually converted..

so who is right..and who is wrong? Even religious scholars or ulama have different opinions not on jus dis matter..but on many others..

The truth is..the wrong or right is not simple to discern animore..Who are we to decide which ulama is right to follow and which is wrong? of course, we do what we believe is right not what is wrong..(which is the reason why we are doing it)..but it doesnt allow us the excuse to go ard freely saying others are wrong in what they do which are against ours..

being thinkin individuals..we examine d reasons behind certain rulings..reasons why certain scholars think in such a way..

my point..nvr ever impose ur sch of thought on others..jus because u feel ur way is right and was right in ur time..times change aft all..and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and way of doing things..it's sad bec i got to know sumwhere dat sum ppl are still persistent in interfering in the way things are being run..once is gd enuff..twice? sheesh..

like dey say..seek to understand, then to be understood..

let Allah be the judge of things..not u. not me. we're too much imperfect for such a task..

to the 20th exco..i pray that Allah guide them to choose a path that is right..and oftwhich they'll have to choose themselves..not me, not the 19th..not even d 1st exco has dat right to do dat..
