i noe dis movie has been out for a long time now..n i have it in mi hard disk jus dat i havent got time to see it..so it was purely coincidential i suppose dat since i've been having classes at NIE, i've been using d journey to and fro from school to watch movies on ipod..to destress especially..lol

anw, back to d movie..i jus gotta say its touching..i noe its not d worst dat Man can feel in dis modern world..i do noe of much more worse settings in underdeveloped countries etc..but i do noe dat in sum way, it related to me in a way as i do live in such a setting as well..



it reminds me cos dis raya..a few things have happened since d last one..i do still feel d scars frm d last one..n dis one brings wif itself its own challenges n things for me to face..NIE, parents, sisters, grandma etc..but watching d movie made me realise dat for all dat i face, i shud still b thankful..for im nt given worse..n for dat Allah swt has given me dese challenges so that i dont forget HIS Blessings..

Chris Gardner (Will Smith) : It was right then that I started thinking about Thomas Jefferson, the Declaration of Independence and the part about our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And I remember thinking: How did he know to put the pursuit part in there? That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue. And maybe we can actually never have it, no matter what. How did he know that?

Chris Gardner: Don't ever let someone tell you, you can't do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period. All right?
