been caught up with a lot of things in sch actualli..now dat secondary sch term is coming to a close, there has been a rush in the staff room to finish up the syllabus(last week) and now it has turned to revision frenzy this week..so yep..rushy wushy..
i got my own table tag now..lol
yep2..gettin the name tag now is actually scaring me a bit..bec i tink sumhow dey're expecting me to stay till july..which for gdness sake, scares me la..
its not dat i dun mind teachin @d sch mind u..im actualli lucky enuff to haf mostly express classes..n d worst ones i have as of now are the last express classes aka Xe4 etc..but sumhow i pity the students dat im gonna teach if dey keep on seeing their teachers change like a roulette of cards..as mentioned in the prev post, my sec 1E students actualli told me im the 5TH teacher for them in a year!!
and of course, i have to state dat im still an untrained teacher..which means dat there's still a long way for me to go in terms of those pedagogies, strategies and what nots..ultimately, i sincerely feel dat the students are gonna lose out more than me..40 X 3 classes = 120 students lose out on average compared to me = 1 person..geddit? jus wish my HOD had more sense than to do this to me instead of insisting me to stay because i "need the teaching experience"...jeez...

As you can see, being a neighbourhood sch n all, dere are disciplinary problems in d sch..d above pic was taken when i was strolling along d 3rd floor..basically, these kids were caught because of their hair..n it was d SECOND TIME when prior warning was given to them d previous day..
But all in all, i have to say im makin sum progress wif my classes la..
2e4 : there are already a few students who are comin up to ask me for help,
3E4 : d problematic malay bunch is starting to open up and requesting me to help them for chemistry n maths aft sch
1E1 : smart class; no need help one..lol
1E4 : one problematic kid is paying more attention in class..plus his gang too..did feedback to his sis(who's in d same sch) dat he found me to be a better teacher and one he can relate to..
so all in all..i guess n i pray to Allah swt dat wateva effort and prayers for these students do work out la..n i tink its becomin a mainstay for miself..let's see how dis goes along..
